RFID technology in the field of retail warehouse logistics application research - to clothing store intelligence as an example

Compared with paper barcodes, the RFID operating environment is inseparable from the three major parts of readers, antennas, and RFID tags. Combining the actual situation of clothing retail stores and the characteristics of RFID technology, four main links are used in store warehousing: fast receiving, fast finding, inventory counting, and inventory overview.

When receiving goods quickly, staff use the RFID scanner to scan the delivery note number, enter the detailed list of delivery notes, after scanning, click "Confirm Receipt" to complete the receipt.

When quickly looking for goods, the staff used the scanner camera to scan the barcode of a piece of clothing, and select the color and size. They can also find other colors and sizes of the clothing item.

The number of clothing shelves and warehouses is displayed on the interface. The staff uses the handheld scanner to inspect the clothing. When the pat reader approaches the garment, there will be a voice prompt, and the staff can find the designated clothing in the area.

During inventory counting, the staff creates a new inventory receipt and enters the inventory details page, and use the camera reader to take inventory of the store. After the inventory is completed, the inventory details page will display the corresponding inventory profit and loss status, click "confirm upload" to complete the inventory. The "Inventory at a Glance" page displays the number of all apparel displays and the number of stores in the store in real time for staff to view.

Store sales management module

It is mainly used in four aspects of store sales management: intelligent display, intelligent fitting, reporting, and intelligent cashier. The display monitoring interface displays the clothing status of the current monitoring display area in real time. When the clothing is removed, put back or placed incorrectly, there will be corresponding prompts, And record the corresponding error display record, pick and place record and replenishment information into the system.

When the stock is out of stock for a certain period of time and there is no timely replenishment, the system will automatically generate a replenishment reminder, and the staff will replenish the goods in time according to the replenishment reminder to ensure the display quantity. The sales statistics report is used to count all the garments in transit/inventory, display quantity, sales quantity, fitting times and other data.

When purchasing, the customer places several pieces of clothing in the scanning area of the cashier at the same time. The system quickly scans the clothing information and total price in batches. Click "confirm payment" and swipe the rfid card on the reader. The system automatically deducts the amount on the card to complete the cashier.

If you need to return the goods, the customer will place the clothing to be returned in the scanning area of the cashier at the same time. The system quickly scans the clothing information and total price in batches, click "Confirm Return", and the system automatically returns the total price of the clothing to the membership card to complete the return.

RFID Technology Optimizes Self-service in Restaurants

Smokin' Oak Wood-Fired Pizza & Taproom is a growing franchise that combines a pizzeria with a self-serve bar wall, offering fast casual dining across the United States. The company operates five stores and has plans to expand as many as 75 stores over the next few years. But its Omaha store offers a self-serve pouring booth powered by RFID technology. The company's CEO, Matt Mongoven, said the model will be replicated in all subsequent stores. The self-service system in this self-service pouring booth utilizes RFID self-pouring t echnology . Pizza and self-service tap facilities are under one roof. When customers arrive, the cashier asks if they would like to use the self-filling bar wall. If they answer "yes", the cashier scans their license and scans the RFID wristband with the restaurant's logo, ...
